APHA Nessler Color Comparison Tubes These Nessler tubes are ideal for color comparison.
AOCS Color Comparison Tube Used to determine the color of refined vegetable oils such as cottonseed, corn and soybean oils, as well as tallows, greases, fatty acids, etc., with Wesson type tintometers (AOCS Method Cc 13b). Also used to determine the color of whole and refined tall oils with a Lovibond tintometer.
• Shadowless bottom of each tube transmits undistorted light • Rings and legend are durable white ceramic enamel which correspond with specific volumes of liquid • 45315 series is unmatched • 45315A series is supplied in a matched set of 6 • 45315B series is supplied in a matched set of 12 • Graduated ring scale of any of the tubes within a set will not vary from that of any other tube within the set by more than 1.5 mm for the 50 mL and 2.0 mm for the 100 mL sizes • The 50 mL size is specifically mentioned by the American Public Health Association in Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Waste Water • Manufactured from 33 expansion, low extractable borosilicate glass conforming to USP Type I and ASTM E438, Type I Class A requirements
